HIKING, BIKING, SHOPPING, GASTRONOMY

Very conveniently located (highway connection, bus stops and main station Neustadt/Wstr.). but you can also reach, for example, the picturesque city center of Neustadt on foot, comfortably via a stairway in about 10 minutes. Shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity.

There are also gastronomic establishments directly in Haardt (e.g. Haardter Winzer, Mandelhof and the small, fine restaurant Die Spinne) which can provide a nice end to the day. Both our beautiful garden and your lovely balcony always invite you to enjoy a glass of wine with a view over the Rhine plain. In the holiday flat there is a well-stocked wine rack with wines from the wineries Weegmüller and friends: Schädler, Mr Steffen Mugler Maikammer, Ohler, Neustadt-Gimmeldingen, as well as ZETER, Neustadt-Haardt.

Neustadt-Haardt is the starting point for numerous hikes through the Palatinate Forest. Hiking trails, bicycle and mountain bike routes of all levels of difficulty can be started directly from the house.

PALATINATE FOREST

It is one of the largest contiguous forest areas in Europe, the Palatinate Forest and the seamlessly adjacent Vosges. Almost endless hiking trails, well marked and a large concentration of forest huts that are managed and give hikers their strength with Palatinate specialties and a pint of wine or spritzer. The forest is also a paradise for cyclists, and there are special mountain bike routes for all levels of difficulty. In this country, the forest is also called "Doctor Forest" because of the wonderful air and the sometimes wonderful views.

NEUSTADT AN DER WEINSTRASSE

A town in the center of the Wine Route with a picturesque old town and lots of half-timbered houses, a market 3 times a week and a farmers' market once a month with producers from Alsace. A city tour through the streets of the "old" new town is worthwhile. A wide range of gastronomy awaits you, often with a beautiful outdoor area.
